-4/20/09 COURT DATE! Myles Mugisha Greer is our son!!!!

-4/13/09 Get our Rwandan court date scheduled for Monday, April 20!

-3/26/09 REFERRAL!!!

-2/17/09 Receive e-mail from the Ministry of Gender and Family Promotion of our APPROVAL to adopt!

-11/24/08 Our file arrives in Rwanda and goes directly to the Prime Minister’s Office!

-11/20/08 Gladney sends dossier to Rwanda!

-11/13/08 Corrections made and dossier sent to Gladney

-10/28/08 Authenticated dossier arrived at Gladney with slight errors

-10/06/08 Rwandan Embassy Authenticating our dossier

-9/29/08 FedEx our dossier to Gladney!

-9/26/08 CIS approval!!! 5 month wait L

-6/11/08 CIS receives our homestudy

-6/11/08 FBI sends clearances

-6/05/08 Certificate of Gladney Approval!

-5/29/08 Get fingerprinted for CIS

-5/30/08 FBI prints FedExed

-5/01/08 CIS confirms receipt of application for I-600A

-4/28/08 Homestudy

-4/18/08 FedExed I-600A to CIS

-3/26/08 Stage 2 & 3 of Paperwork sent to Gladney

-3/04/08 Child Abuse sent, returned to us 3/15/08

-3/03/08 Initial Application Form(Stage 1)

-1/29/08 Adoption Information Sheet sent to get information about the brand new Rwandan program with Gladney Center for Adoption!

We are HOME!

After an AMAZING 8 days in Rwanda, we rushed through our time in Ethiopia and we were able to leave Addis on Tuesday night! We arrived home Wednesday at lunch. Nana, Gramps, Keith, and Lili were waiting outside to welcome Myles home! Steven Curtis Chapman's song "When Love Takes You Home" was the basis for the sign on the car. :)
